When wellness and fitness studio, Spenga, decided to increase its customer base by expanding its chain to various locations across the country, VES was commissioned to provide architecture and MEP/FP engineering services to implement and deliver these fast-track projects.

The goal was to embark on an aggressive rollout for this nationwide account beginning in Spring 2018. With each facility taking approximately 3 – 4 months for completion, by year-end 2021, VES will have completed close to 18 Spenga’s with roughly 20-25 new locations planned for 2022.

Ranging in size between 3,800 – 4,500 SF, facilities consist of three (3) main exercise areas: a spin area, strength area, and yoga area. Other features include a lobby/reception, locker rooms, and a room for utility/storage. A space for childcare is also provided at some facilities.

VES has designed Spenga studios in Illinois, Indiana, Texas, Florida, Ohio, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona, New Mexico, Wisconsin, and Colorado. Upcoming locations include Utah, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota.
