Naperville Center for Sleep Medicine
Sleep Disorder Clinic

Located on the perimeter of a shopping center in Naperville the Center for Sleep building
is a simple building with multiple tenants. The Center for sleep is designed with reception,
waiting, consulting rooms, physician offices, and six bedrooms with bathrooms. Design
emphases was placed on sound attenuation around all bedrooms to encourage an environment
of rest.


Sleep disorders treated at the Center for Sleep include Insomnia, Snoring & Obstructive
Sleep Apnea, Daytime Sleepiness, Narcolepsy, Shift work Disorder, Restless Leg Syndrome,
Pediatric Sleep Disorders, and many others.


The scope of work included schematic design, design development, and construction
documents. VES provided architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering
design documents and specifications. VES subcontracted the structural engineering
portion of the scope to Johnson Wilbur Adams, Inc. (JWA). Project deliverables included
schematic design (1 concept plan for approval) and construction documents (100%/CD/
Sheet Specs). There are three RTU’s and a single mini-split RTU.
