VES provided professional HVAC and electrical engineering design services for the renovations to an existing office building at 180 W. Adams Street to convert to a 36-unit high-rise apartment building.

The scope of renovations included the review of the existing building envelope and load calculations. It also included a review of the building’s existing electrical and fire alarm system and a review of the Chicago Building Code requirements for code compliance.
