VES was retained by KLM Development group to obtain Architectural Permit documents on a condensed schedule for the new project located at 105 S. Cottage Hill Avenue.
The 60,000 S.F. 5 story structure will consist of 23 units between two and three bedrooms, with retail space, and garage parking. Custom kitchen finishes with premium appliances and 10 foot ceilings are provided for each unit. The building will feature a rooftop community deck overlooking the downtown neighborhood.
KLM required a VDC-capable partner to facilitate timely construction. The building’s shell and floors consist of precast concrete panels, with all slab penetrations, window and door openings pre-engineered to tight tolerances. To ensure the design of the structural, precast, MEP trades and the architectural interior fit outs all coordinated to those exacting specifications, a virtual model allowed for rapid design development. Ground breaking is February 2019.
